Really nice experience there. Fairly clean, good value hotel, the location was absolutely perfect close enough to the centre of the town by the lake, the absolute water front and the lake Garda. Great-sized and super room with central heating, a safe box, and multi-channel TV. Really helpful and very helpful staffs, gave a few recommendations. Pizza bar with hot drinks;)))

All in all everything was excellent, had a really really nice stay for one night. The restaurant was good with really inferior food, we ordered excellent dishes. The location was incredible and lovely and beds were exceptionally comfortable. The property was set in a lovely area.

The hotel was right in the centre - very good location. Excellent breakfast.
Yes, the hotel was quite scruffy in its appearance. The rooms were very basic for a 3 star. I guess that is the reason why it was reasonable. I think the star rating should be 2 though.

The hotel windows look in to the piazza, so dining noise is till midnight.

Friendly Staff. Great location right on the lake front and in the center of town. It was my second time staying in this hotel and i would book it again if i return to the lake in the future.
The only thing i would say is that there is no air-con and the bathrooms are very small

the second night's stay was a huge improvement on the first as it was a larger room with a balcony overlooking the mountains and partly lake. We had a better night's sleep than the first night thanks to the receptionist called Pamela who was very helpful and attentive.
The first night's room was very small and extremely hot.

Lovely Lakeside Retreat
We enjoyed relaxing by the water, perfect for cooling off. Breakfast included a wide variety of meats and cheeses, though fresh fruit would have been a lovely addition. Don't forget to bring swimming shoes!

The hotel features charming vintage decor that perfectly captures the essence of Malcesine. Its lakefront accessibility and the availability of sun loungers make it effortlessly enjoyable for seniors like myself.
Need better seating options for dining outside.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of town, probably right as a 3 star but a traditional hotel

The service was helpful, we had a good breakfast. Had quiet a single room with a view and wake-up service was available in it. The hotel was in a central setting in the Bardolino district.

Superb location on lakeside with restaurant right on lake. Discount for hotel residents using the restaurant when we were there.
Noise at night from residents using the balcony below our room.

The hotel was close to the lake, a good point to explore from. Food was very good, and not expensive. The staff were very friendly and made our stay a pleaseant one.
The temperatures were very high - high 30's. The bedrooms does not have air conditioning, and so it was very uncomfortable in trying to sleep at night. The rooms did not have any form of refridgeration for keeping drinks cold, and whilst the bar was great during the day, at night it was impossible to find a cold drink.

Very nice location right by the lake and a short walk from the castle. The evening meals featured a good three-course menu, and the bruschetta was a highlight. While the receptionist initially struggled with our check-in, other staff members were particularly helpful. The room's air conditioning was unnecessary thanks to a provided fan with a comfortable stay.
